Stone & Sue’s Forty Drop Few are a trio that play pre-war stringband, hillbilly, country blues and jazz tunes as well as originals. The trio consists of Candra Edwards, Ethan Francis and Elliot Kennedy, all on a variety of different instruments. https://www.instagram.com/stoneandsue/ Stone & Sue’s Forty Drop Few is a collaboration between Candra and Ethan Francis—who are partners in both music and life—and fiddler Elliot Kennedy. The band’s freshman record is a DIY effort of 14 songs from 1924 to 1936, along with two sneaky originals written and recorded with such faithful fluency to the time period that their modernity is indiscernible. https://www.instagram.com/miriamhacksaw/?hl=en Miriam Hacksaw malayali-american fiddler and banjoist New Orleans. https://dumpsterjoe.bandcamp.com/ This is an ever growing project with many different members but is organized and managed by Dumpster Joe. We play 1920s and 30s country blues, hill billy and jazz tunes(also a few originals). The tunes we play were learned by listening fanatically to old 78 rpm records and reissues of 78s. We will totally rock your socks off and make you wanna slap your pappy down.
